Wendy was born October 25th, 1972, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Joy (Nere) Keenan, and she attended elementary school at Lake Minatare, later continuing her education in the Scottsbluff Public Schools. She left behind many ways in which we can remember her, but the best words to describe her are “loving mother and grandmother”. She adored her grandbabies, her pets, her home, her yard, and her hobbies. She especially loved her daughter and went out of her way to help her loved ones whenever asked, no matter what. Wendy was very colorful in everything she did as an outward exclamation of the joy in her heart. She will be missed, but never forgotten. God gained a beautiful angel, and she will still be with us, watching us from above.
Survivors include her daughter, Cecilia Hill (Samuel Cardona); grandchildren, Cortez Salazar and Anahlia Cardona; step-father, Darrell Keenan; and her fur babies, “Baby” Dog and Katy Cat.
Preceding her in death are Joy Keenan, Vicki Lase, Terry Nere, and Donna and Duane Robertson.
