Wilma Jean Diane Bauer

Wilma Jean “Diane” Bauer, 62, of Melbeta, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2009 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Nuss-Warren officiating. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. at the Kimball Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Prairie Haven Hospice. Friends may call at the funeral home between 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday. Diane was born March 7, 1948 in Nettleton, AK to Melvis and Minnie Selma (Brock) Willcockson. Diane grew up and received her education in Arkansas. She married Jack Marion Bauer December 3, 1984 in Fresno, CA. Diane worked at Midwec from 1980 to 1982, Sweet Alice’s Café from 1982-1984 and in 2003 began employment with George Risk Industries in Gering until ill health forced her retirement. Diane collected eagles and angels, loved gardening, fishing and her pets Captain, Nike and Kay. She is survived by her husband Jack; children: Marilyn “Renae” Humbolt, Proctor, AK, Mary Lee (Charles) Bidigare, Detroit, MI, James Robert Baltzell, Sacramento, CA, LaLinda “Janneane” Willis, Sacramento, CA, Milana Michelle Baltzell, Bayard, NE and Selma Libelle Francine “Belle” (Jonathan) Bartlett, Gering, NE; brother: Terry Veal, Jonesboro, AK; sisters Kay and Juanita both of Jonesboro, AK, sisters-in-law: Debbie (Rich) Christenson, Kimball, NE and Sally Scherbarth, Chadron, NE; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandchild, and 1 brother.
