

Anna Bell Scarbrough, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016 at her home in Mesquite, Texas while surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Wayne, Oklahoma on March 1, 1929 to Frances Edden and Maggie Mae (Byrd) Cooper. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband James I. Scarbrough; her sisters Lenora Moore, Dixie Mitchell, Mary Jo Dingler and Wanda June Cooper; her brothers Lloyd Cooper, Ray Cooper, Fred Cooper and Gary Cooper and son-in-law Albert Anders. Left with cherished memories are her daughters Linda Anders, Teresa Nichols & husband Ronny, Gaye Young & husband Bubba, Kelly Buckner & husband Lynn and Number Zero, Pam Butler; grandchildren Tony, Tammy, Ryan, Dunior, Shaun, Ashley, Laci and Jennifer; 17 and one on the way great grandchildren; 4 and one on the way great-great grandchildren; sister Darlene Young; brother Jimmy Cooper and many family loved ones and beloved friends including her four legged babies Little Bit and Buster and 4 legged grandbabies Ginger, Chewy & Lulu. Anna Bell enjoyed traveling. She liked to watch birds and she enjoyed crocheting. Practically everyone in the family has something that Anna Bell crocheted for them. She loved being with her family. Her “Sisters Retreat” was one of her favorite activities. She loved the Lord and was proud to be a Christian. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday October 20, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home.
