Bernice Woody, 87, went home to be with her Lord on January 26, 2017. She was born on April 15, 1929 to Talmage and Jennie (Reed) Houston of Combine, Texas. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband James Renè Woody, and 4 brothers. Bernice was very diligent in attending the Church of Christ in Seagoville and was a faithful servant. Her greatest pleasure in life was her family and she loved family gatherings and also loved to cook “deserts”. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Ronald Woody, Gailand Woody and wife Cindy, Pamela Lugo, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, four sisters and one brother along with numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 29th 2:00-4:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, Jan. 30th @ 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ Seagoville.
