His family describes him as "one of a kind." Wise, smart, and a giving person with a big heart who would help anyone in need, even if they were strangers. He was a man who loved his family dearly and one who would be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Woody; his son, Bobby Ray Woody; and his brothers, Lloyd Woody and Marcel Woody.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Ballard and Vicky Orman (Glynn Orman); his grandchildren, Bobby Ray Woody Jr, Jody Woody (Barbara Woody), Lisa Ballard Hitt (Gerald Hitt), Misty Orman-Vasquez (Enrique Vasquez), and Keri Woody-Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Kylie Brooks (Trey Brooks), Sean Woody, Kaytlin Thibodeaux (Kekoa Thibodeaux), Madison Rinehart, Macy Hitt, Maddie Woody, Mailey Rinehart, Hailee Woody, Kasen Ramirez, and Ryder Woody; great-great grandchildren, Kai Thibodeaux, Kekoa K Thibodeaux, and Palmer Brooks; and one sister, Bille Ruth Sebastian.
A Celebration of Life will take place on the afternoon of Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM with a committal service to follow at Kleberg Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
