Braulio Valdez, 62, passed away on May 25, 2017 in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on March 26, 1955 to Felix and Bartola Valdez in Mexico. Braulio was a loyal friend and if you didn’t know him, all you had to do was sit with him for a few minutes and you became friends. He was a great story-teller and was an extremely hard worker. Braulio liked working with his hands and enjoyed his jobs in construction, as well as planting and harvesting his fields at his home in Mexico. He loved his parrots at his home there, and had great fun in teaching them to talk and to whistle at the girls. Braulio’s greatest pleasure in life was his family and those that knew him will forever hold him in their hearts. Preceding him in death are his parents and his brother Cosme Valdez. Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Jose Luis Valdez, Elvia Valdez, Rosa Elia Valdez and husband, Martin Rodriguez and Nancy Valdez; grandchildren: Fernando Valdez, Raphael Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Isaac Valdez, Jasmine Valdez, Domingo Gonzalez, Olga Gonzalez, Jennifer Valdez, Giovanni Sanchez, Jiselle Valdez and Melody Opal Sanchez; siblings: Bertha Valdez, Julian Valdez, Catalino Valdez, Fidel Valdez, Maria Guadalupe Valdez, Manny Valdez, Aida Valdez, Isela Valdez and Juan Carlos Valdez; and a host of extended family members that will miss him dearly.
