He was born on September 28, 1957 in Kaufman, Texas to Dorothy Lanfair. Brent was raised in Crandall, Texas and graduated from Crandall High School in 1977. He was a Stockman at Brookshire's Kaufman where he worked for over 25 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and flying with his friend Doug Cheek. His family and friends will always remember him as loving son and brother, and he was kind to everyone he met.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Kidd Lanfair; his uncle and aunt, Arden and Shirley Wilkinson; and his great aunt, Geneva "Sis" Kidd.
He is survived by his little sister Kristi and her husband Paul Stokes.
He will be missed by his family and friends, who loved him dearly.
