Bruce Lynn Richardson Jr.

Bruce was raised in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from H. Grady Spruce high school in 1994. He went on to join the US Navy where he was a Hospital Corpsmen during Operation Enduring Freedom. He married Shonda Seiber in 1995 and the couple had 2 children.

He was an Independent Duty Hospital Corpsmen (HM) where he assisted healthcare professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. He was a "Doc" in the US Navy for more than 13 years until his medical retirement.

Bruce was very proud of where he was from, always representing Texas! Bruce was a proud Sailor and loved every minute of the time he got to serve his country. Once he retired he took time to help other veterans when he Could.

In His spare time, Bruce enjoyed grilling, He loved to smoke a good brisket. Bruce also enjoyed fishing, hiking, and helping Other Veterans.

He is preceded in death by His father and Sister, Bruce Richardson Sr and Ashley L. Richardson.

Bruce is survived by His wife, Shonda Richardson; Their two children, Bruce L. Richardson III and A.J. Richardson; his mother, Janice Robertson; his Sisters, Kathy Thompson and husband Steven Thompson, Misty Vansickle and husband Steven Vansickle, and baby Sister Amanda Richardson; His brother, Ryan Parker, and uncle his tony Robertson and aunt Rhonda Robertson, along with numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and many loving friends.

A visitation for Bruce will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
