Delores "Dede" Ann Inmon, age 81, of Fort Worth, Texas entered into rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. She entered into life on November 3, 1942 in Taylor, Texas, to parents Eric and Julia Rosenthal. She worked as a Hospital Administrator at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas for many years.
In her spare time, Dede enjoyed playing piano, organ, saxophone, drums, guitar, and the accordion. She was an avid lover of music, especially when it involved giving her thanks and love to her Lord and Savior.
While Dede was typically a meek and quiet person, she was a giver and was always willing to help someone in need.
When she wasn't caring for her family or working, Dede's passion was her church. She loved to be involved in praise and instilled those values in every part of her life. She had a 'Servant's Heart'. Dede and her husband started a street ministry where they would go and feed the homeless in need, and she also dedicated her time to volunteering at the Lancaster Community Center where she assisted in feeding the less fortunate and spreading God's love to all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Burns Inmon; son, Charles Ray Walters; her parents, Eric Christian Rosenthal and Julia Hilda (Poldrack) Widmer; and stepfather, Lawrence Ernst Poldrack.
Delores is survived by her son, Sean Staubach and wife Sally; her sisters, Marlene Cargile, Janell Moore, Patrice Morrison, and Denise Poldrack; her grandson, Trevor Staubach and wife Jessica; and her granddaughter, Chasity Staubach.
Her family and friends will miss her giving spirit, her kindness, and most of all the love she had to give to each person that she met in her lifetime.
A graveside service for Dede will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
