Mr. Dewey Weaver

Dewey Weaver (84) of Seagoville, Texas went home to the Lord on April 5, 2016. He was born in Martins Mill, Texas on July 26, 1931 to Columbus Franklin and Edna (Head) Weaver. Dewey was always smiling, he never met a stranger and he was loved by everyone who knew him. Dewey faithfully served the Lord. He was a lay minister and ministered in nursing homes, prisons and wherever he was called to do so. He also loved to sing and enjoyed being with people just to visit. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and his wife of 47 years, Linnie. Left with precious memories to cherish is his loving and devoted wife of 12 years, Patsy, son Horace & wife Sherri, son Steve & wife Karen, daughter Kimberly, son Dewey & wife Kim, son Philip & wife Sandy, 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Thursday April 7, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 11:00am Friday April 8, 2016 at Kaufman Assembly of God Church 3401 S. Houston St. Kaufman, Texas 75142. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas.
