Dian D Bounds

Dian Dowling Bounds (78) of Forney, Texas went home to the Lord on May 17, 2016. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on November 20, 1937 to Edward & Elsie Dowling. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Edward Bounds. Left with cherished memories is her son Robert Bounds & wife Patricia; granddaughter Brianna Bounds; son Scott Bounds & wife Kim; granddaughters Alexis Bounds and Toni Bounds; grandson Tyler Bounds; mother Betty Sue Dowling; brother Monte Dowling; brother Mickey Dowling & wife Jan; brother Ed Dowling and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. Dian led Bible Study classes and taught Sunday school at New Covenant United Methodist Church of Sunnyvale. She was always active. She was a Red Cross volunteer and volunteered to help provide meals and feed people at Ewing House and Sharing Life Outreach Center. She also enjoyed attending yoga classes. Dian was a very loving and outgoing person who never met a stranger. She would engage anyone in conversation at anytime. She loved her family very much. Her Grandchildren meant everything to her. She treasured time with family. She especially enjoyed “Sunday Fun Days” with her family, every Sunday. The family will receive friends at a visitation 2-4pm Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Monday May 23, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, where Dian will be laid to rest in Valley View Garden. Rev Reid Fade will officiate.
