She was born on October 3, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Evelyn and Earl Harris. Diane was raised in Seagoville, Texas and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1976.
She married Gary Kirby in 1992 and the couple had four children. She was a housekeeper and self-employed for many years. In her spare time, Diane enjoyed gardening, baking, candle-making, and swimming.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a woman of extraordinary warmth and love, and a mother to many. She was the foundation of our family and the one we turned to for everything. She opened her home to children who needed it. Her hands held, her heart cared, and her spirit inspired. She was truly a beautiful person.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Evelyn Harris; her mother-in-law Sue Kirby; her niece, Shelly Harris; and two of her children, Dustin Dunman and Woodrow Strain.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Kirby; two of her children, Hutson Stilwell and Lacy Wright; her grandchild, Karlie Wright; and her siblings, Debbie, Ricky, and Becky.
She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
