Floyd Hill

Arthur Floyd Hill, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, in Carrollton, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to all that knew and loved him. He was born on March 31, 1937, in Karnack, Texas to Ivy and Maude Hill.

Floyd was a very successful businessman and an avid hunter. He loved to watch all kinds of sports on the television.

Floyd is survived by Daughter Sandra Mason and husband James of Keller Texas, Grandson Jake Mason and wife Jill of Flower Mound, Texas, Granddaughter Carrie Mahan and husband Shaun of Austin, Texas, Grandson Scott Hill and wife Beth of Wendell, NC, Granddaughter Stephanie Culley and husband Kevin of Longs SC, Granddaughter Tonya Russell of Palestine, Texas and Grandson Tony Russell of Rockwall, Texas. Eight great-grandchildren, Ty, Taylor, Cole, Finn, Ryland, Oakland Lucas and Shaun. One brother Billy Hill and two sisters Juanita Hutson and Jane Gordon. He was preceded in death by wife Carolyn, son Samuel Hill, and 13 siblings.

A visitation for Floyd will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A reception will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
