She was born on November 5, 1933, in Dallas, Texas to William Alexander and Beulah Pearl Cochran.
Sue, as she preferred to be called, is survived by her sons, Paul W Banister and wife Julia, of Beaumont, Texas, Mark L Banister and wife Jennifer, of Garland, Texas; Grandchildren Matthew Banister and wife Jamie of Fulshear, Texas, Amanda LaRue and husband Justin of Waco, Texas, Claudia Diaz of Balch Springs, Texas, Sara Banister of Garland, Texas; Great grandchildren Bailey LaRue, Reese Banister, Taylor LaRue, and Logan Banister; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Banister, her sister, Wanda Shaw, nephew, William McAdams, and her parents, William and Beulah Cochran.
The visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Roselawn Funeral Home. The services will be held at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, followed by private family service and internment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
