Kaelyn Grace Welch

Kaelyn Grace Welch, of Crandall, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Crandall, Texas. Kaelyn was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew and loved her. She was born on October 2, 1991, in Mesquite, Texas, and was raised by Angela and Denis Meeks.

Kaelyn graduated from Crandall High School in 2010. After high school, she worked various jobs before beginning her career at L&S Mechanical, where she worked full-time as an HVAC dispatcher for the past six years.

Kaelyn is survived by her two daughters, Myracle Grace and Leigha Jane of Crandall, Texas; her parents, Denis and Angela Meeks of Crandall, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law, Ryan and Amber Welch, and their daughter, Andrea Welch, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; her grandmother (“Gan”), Maxine Welch of Crandall, Texas; her aunt and uncle, Rhett and Shari Welch of Crandall, Texas; her cousins, Russell and Malsi Welch and their children, Leo, Rafa, Magi, and Luca Welch of Houston, Texas; Kirby Welch of Dallas, Texas; Ashley Welch of Grants Pass, Oregon; and Chris Howard and his sons, Rowdy and Broxton, of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her great-aunt and great-uncle, Jimmy and Nancy Lambert of Athens, Texas, and her great-aunt and great-uncle, Nick and Susan Howard of Germany.

Kaelyn was preceded in death by her grandfather, “Dan Dan,” Danny Welch, and her grandparents, Hubert and Louise Meeks.

Kaelyn’s Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon this Saturday, February 28th at Central Baptist Church, (Chapel Building B), 1749 South FM 148, Crandall, TX 75114
