Kathy Brazil

Kathy Brazil, of Balch Springs, TX, passed away on April 15th, 2023 at home. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, beloved sister, precious aunt, and caring friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on April 7th, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Henry and Mary Lou Vandever.

Kathy loved being around her husband, Bobby Brazil, of 36 wonderful years. She enjoyed cooking, working on crafts, and reading. Most of all she loved going to church and working with the food program.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Bobby, of 36 years, Father-in-Law, Bob, of Balch Springs, Karen Godby and husband Larry (L.A.) of Victoria, Kim Miller and husband Michael Miller of Forney, Keith Vandever and wife Shirley of Crandall and Kurt Vandever of Balch Springs and girlfriend Melanie Tobola of Grand Prarie. 11 nephews and nieces and several great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Lou Vandever.

The visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at The Rock Church, 14201 W US Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
