Kenneth Ray Hester was born in Kilgore, TX to Otto and Hattie Hester. Kenneth was a licensed plumber his entire life. He began his calling as a Minister in 1992 where he served his church Solid Rock Apostolic Church for many years.
He loved leading his church and preaching the gospel. He could always be found working around his church & enjoying fellowship with his family and friends. He enjoyed life and always had a story to tell even if they were a little exaggerated.
He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Otto & Hattie Hester, his Wife Jeanette Bowen Hester, and his Nephew/Son Philip McClelland.
He is survived by his sisters, Mildred McMahon, Dorothy Cain and husband Bob, Sammie Keith, Betty Burden and Husband Jim, along with many nieces, nephews and the Solid Rock Apostolic Church family.
