I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very special person. When I first started working with him, I am pretty sure he made me cry. But I soon learned it was because he set high standard and his work ethic was above and beyond. He loved his family dearly and I know he will be missed very much. I am praying for peace and comfort for you all, in the coming days.

Ken was a great, fun guy and he took a lot pride in his work. I had the privilege of learning under him during my first year of plumbing at Buckner.  He was joked with often for being “Mr. Clean” on the job, but it was something I appreciated later on in my career. His attention to detail and meticulous work is what gave him that nickname, and it was something to be proud of.  He was one of a handful of good influences in my plumbing career, and I will always remember him and be grateful for that.  Along with plumbing came plenty of wise cracks and jokes during the work day.  We laughed often and he was always good for a joke or a prank to help the work day pass. He loved making bets of all kinds and many were hard to turn down.  I wish we could’ve played another hand of poker, or bet over another gas station scratch off ticket.  Thank you Ken for the life long memories, laughs, and plumbing knowledge shared.  You’ve won this race, but I’ll catch up to you in heaven one day. Rest in peace my friend ❤️

Whether it was fishing somewhere, or having dinner, we had a good times together. My prayers for you, Ms Pam and the family. Ken and I understood one another well, such a good friend.

Pam and family, I am so sorry for your loss. 
When I started working with Ken 9 years ago he scared me because of his rough exterior. I was always afraid I would put the wrong thing on his work orders, but the more I worked with him the more I saw he was just a big softy on the inside. I can still hear his voice telling me thank you darling when he would come get a pen from me. He had a kind soul and will truly be missed. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

As a longtime neighbor of Pam’s parent Roy and Adelle Cook, and recently Pam and Kenneth aka Grumpy, could not ask for better people. 
My favorite memory of Grumpy, was when Dently was riding my horse Jack, he came and was giving pointers on riding skills.

I only knew Ken for a little over a year, but what I learned over that short time was he cared about his work and family.   He held his crews to a very high standard, treated them fairly and addressed every issue in a timely fashion.  In a world where that level of work ethic is very rare to find he will be dearly missed.  He was my favorite sub to work with and talking to him would put a smile on your face, especially when the conversation would turn to a personal nature and he would get to telling stories.

Ken was one of a kind and will truly be missed by those who knew him.

Pam and family, you’re in my heart & prayers.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I had the privilege of working with Ken for 11 years.  He sometimes appeared gruff, but I knew he was really a big softie.  He was a great friend and we so enjoyed sharing grandchildren stories.  The builders he worked with would have no other, he was great at his work and very respected.  He will be missed by so many ❤️

Pam and family , I am so sorry to hear of the death of your husband. I did not hear until last night atBible study. It was a shock for me, I had never heard of any illness, but that is how death sucks our life away. My son -in-law was a close friend of the Stephen's family and i had gone to church with his dad and his stepmom. I will pray for your wonderful family and that God  will surround you with love and comfort. Love you Pam and I am keeping you in my heart and my prayers.
