

Lee Roy Sexton, 71, of Combine, Texas went home to the Lord on December 12, 2015. He was born in Combine on October 27, 1944 to Walter and Venia Fay Sexton. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers James Sexton and Paul Sexton and his sister Vickie Mahan. Left with cherished memories is his daughter Kara Chaves & husband Richard of Combine, and their children Richard, Morgan, Ally and Nick; son Brandon Sexton of Combine; brother Edward Sexton & wife Dessie of Combine; sister Wanda Roberson & husband Jerry of Combine; sister Paulette Greer & husband Mike of Forney; brother Bobby Sexton of Combine; sister Patricia Warren & husband Bobby of Combine; brother Danny Sexton of Combine; his lifelong friend Cecil Davis; many nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Lee Roy was a carpenter for most of his life. He built many houses in and around the Combine area. He was a true craftsman who could build just about anything he set his mind to. He was a simple man who was larger than life. He didn’t care for crowds or large gatherings but he loved people and enjoyed visiting one on one. Lee Roy was a kind hearted man who always put others needs before his own. He liked to fish and hunt and he enjoyed his afternoon coffee breaks with all of his buddies at Matlocks. Lee Roy was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Providing for others during this holiday season is a wonderful way to honor and pay tribute to Lee Roy. The family has requested, in lieu of flowers donations be made to the food bank at Central Baptist Church in Crandall so that others may eat and enjoy the holidays.
