Lyle Pearson Marshall

Lyle Pearson Marshall was born in Dallas, Texas on September 13, 1954 to William Hawthorne Marshall and Dorothy Jane Pearson Kopel. He went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents and his best friend and business partner, Merlyn Altom. Left with cherished memories is his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Diane Marshall; daughter, Christy Norris & husband Donnie; daughter Abbey Ragsdale & husband Michael; grandchildren Kaylee Norris, Kendyl Norris, Noah Norris and Auron Ragsdale; sister Cynthia Head; brother Steve Marshall; cousin Bill Moellenberg; numerous nieces, nephews and other family loved ones including his dog Ginger and Hazel, the hated cat. Also left with fond memories are many, many beloved friends and neighbors. Lyle was a skilled carpenter who could design, engineer and build anything he put his mind to. He enjoyed classic rock music from the 60’s and 70’s, watching the Andy Griffith Show, old westerns and musicals. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Lyle loved to travel. He especially liked cruises and going to Hawaii with his sweetheart Diane. The family will receive friends at a visitation, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Seagoville. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Seagoville, Texas.
