Martin "Marty" Blair Bailey

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Ray Bailey.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 22 years, Dana Renee Bailey; his only son, Larry Blake Bailey; his mother, Lela June Bailey and two sister, Angie and Kelly.

Marty worked as an educator in public schools for 30 years. He retired from Dallas ISD and later continued to work for Kemp ISD. While coaching for the Richland ISD basketball team he was the only coach to lead them to the Regional Tournament in the schools history. When he worked for Seagoville ISD as the soccer coach he won several District Champions there. He had many accomplishments over the years teaching and coaching and loved helping his students.

Marty had a heart of gold. He always put others first and had an abundance of love for his wife and son. He never met a stranger and could make any person smile.

During his time away from work he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son. He loved watching Blake play baseball as well as playing golf with him and their friends. Another favorite pastime was spending time with his wife on camping trips.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
