Nettie Juanita Molanders, better known as Memaw, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Mabank, Texas. Nettie was born on August 15, 1935, to Bessie and George Sims. She married the love of her life, Jim Molanders, on April 18, 1955. Together, they had 4 children. Nettie retired from Buddy Schoellkopf Products after 20+ years of service.
Memaw was a life-time member of Faith Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, founded by her father, George E. Sims. At every meal served in her home, she was always the last to sit down, making sure everyone else had a plate and a drink. She was a quiet person, but the love for her family spoke volumes. You could often find her sitting on the porch enjoying a glass of tea or riding around on her lawn mower. If she was inside, she was either working on a puzzle or watching her favorite game shows.
Nettie is survived by her children, Delores McAdams, Debbie Richeson and husband Jeff, Robbie Molanders, and Mike Molanders and wife Vanessa; 13 Grandchildren; Bryan Hartline, Nick Hartline, Amanda Contreras, Kenny McCarty, Chris Richeson, Ashley Richeson, Violet Thompson, Kim Dorris, Robin Fincher, Matt Molanders, Melissa Dorey, Jessica Arrington, and Justin Molanders; 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and sister Jeanette.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim E. Molanders, her parents, Bessie and George Sims, sisters Doris, Florence, Sylvia, Lois, Betty and brother Georgie; grandson, Kipper Hartline; great grandson Anthony Hartline, and great-granddaughter, Emily Hartline.
