Patsy Sigman

Patsy Lee Morris Sigman, age 85 passed away on January 26, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Sunnyvale, Texas. She was born June 5, 1935 to Ernest Clyde Morris and Ruth Morris (Patterson) in Dallas, Texas. She met the love of her life, Richard Sigman and married him on January 31, 1953.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Sigman; son Ronny Sigman; three sisters: Linda Byford, Joann Kelly and Maxine Woodward; brother James Morris and her father and mother in-law Richard and CoraBelle Sigman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Rickey Sigman (Gerald) of Combine, Texas, Patty Taylor (Reggie) of Terrell, Texas and Pam Sigman of Combine, Texas; two brothers, Jerry Morris (Pam) and David Morris, two sister-in-laws Barbara Sigman and Flominda Poston; 7 grandchildren: Greg Rhea, Ronita Brice (James), Lloyd (Bear) Ashcraft, Jr. (Bonnie), Amanda Fairbanks, Korey Plough (Christen), Kelly Plough (Nic), Ronny (Bubba) Sigman and Jr. (Lesley); 17 great grandchildren: Avery Brice, Alyssa Roberts, Payton Roberts, Whytni Brice, Cayden Cochrane-Langthorn, Hailey Ashcraft, Kayson Rhea, Kinsli Plough, Savanna Ashcraft, Vince Jaggers, Harper Sigman, Preslee Brice, Jack Fairbanks, Oakley Sigman, Charlie Fairbanks, Beckham Ashcraft and Landry Fairbanks, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Patsy loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mom to her children and Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very thoughtful of others, and loved people, she hardly ever met a stranger. Her smile would light up the room. She was a woman of strong Christian faith. Patsy attended Point View Baptist Church in Combine, Texas and very much enjoyed her Sunday School class. She was dedicated and had a very strong work ethic. She retired from Western Electric in the late 80’s and after a short retirement she went back to work at Crandall Independent School District in the Cafeteria and worked there for over 25 years until her death.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. The graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, in the garden of Valley View where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
