

He will always be remembered as a loving Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all that knew and loved him. Reggie was born February 23, 1952 in Woolen Lake, Louisiana to Millard “MF” and Irene Garsee Carter.
He graduated from Mangham High School in Mangham, Louisiana and went on to complete barber school and get his certification. After years of cutting hair and keeping the men on Louisiana looking sharp, he went on to work at the General Motors factory in Shreveport until his retirement.
Reggie loved meeting new people, spending time with his Wife Deborah and his family, telling stories and making everyone laugh.
Reggie is survived by his wife, Deborah L. Pee Carter of Shreveport, LA; children, April Carter of San Antonio, TX, Eric and Natalie Carter of Rockwall, TX, Kyle and Misty Waldon of DeBerry, TX; grandchildren, Giancarlo Franco, Madison Speights, Brooklyn Speights, and Hayden Carter; his brothers, Delma and Betty Carter of Gloster, LA Gerald and Carolyne Carter of West Monroe, LA, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, MF and Irene Carter, and his brothers, JM Carter, Miles Carter, and Roy Carter.
A visitation for Reggie will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a grave side funeral service at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
