Robert D. Surratt (81) of Rowlett passed away September 26, 2016 in Rowlett. He was born July 7, 1935 in Rusk Texas to Joseph Eugene & Annie Leona Surratt. Robert worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a First Sergeant during the Korean Conflict. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Marvin, Carvin, Jim, Doyle and Harce; four sisters, Grace, Elsie, Nagaline, and Marce; and, daughter, Nancy Kuchenmeister. He is survived by son, Robert Surratt; daughter; Cindy Marie Dunn; granddaughter Wanda Cox; grandson Donnie Cox, and two great-granddaughters Emily & Kacey Grissom.
