Mr. Ronald Lynn Reed

Memorial services for Ronald Reed, age 57 of Kemp, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp. Inurnment will follow at the Baker Cemetery near Kemp for family members at a later date.

Ronald Lynn Reed was born on September 26, 1956 in Terrell, Texas a son of the late Billy and Mildred Smith Reed and passed away on June 15, 2014 in Meridian, Mississippi. Ronald attended Kemp Schools and was married to Marianne Cobb on January 25, 1975. He was a truck driver for over 30 years and his love for God, his family, friends, trucking, the outdoors and more especially his grandchildren will always be cherished by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Mildred Reed, grandparents, Clifton and Annie Smith and Pearl Reed, nephew Jeffrey Reed, cousins Jeremy Doss and Sam Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Marianne Reed of Kemp, daughter, Amanda Michelle Vaughn and her spouse Amanda Ward, son, Chase Reed and his spouse Michelle, daughter, Khristy Patterson, his loving dog Ziggy, grandchildren, Monica Reed, Marissa and Shawn Vaughn, Chasity, Justin, Caleb and Jayden Reed, Alexis and Latisha Patterson, sister, Diane Bookman and her spouse John, brothers Dicky Reed and his spouse Bonita and Terry Reed and his spouse Patty as well as several other family members and a large host of friends.
