Salvatore Fernandez, Jr., 54, passed away on May 12, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Salvatore Fernandez, Sr. and Esther Cardenas Garcia on June 10, 1960 in Chicago, IL. Salvatore was very proud to be an American Indian. He embraced his Cherokee heritage and spirituality. He also believed in hard work and working everyday. He is preceded in death by his father, Salvatore Fernandez, Sr. and step-father, Philip Garcia. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother: Esther Garcia; sisters: Paula Montgomery and husband, Thomas, Margie Rhodes and husband, Donald; nieces and nephews: Madison Montgomery, Aristotle Montgomery, Charlotte Montgomery, Thomas Armani Montgomery, Michelle Cole and husband, Wade, Colton Phillip Sutton and Eric Lee Garcia; great-nephew: Rider Cole. Salvatore will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in the Urn Garden at a later date.
