Stanley is preceded in death by his grandparents; Ben and Tish Abbott and Houston and Lorena Nicholson.
Left with cherished memories are his parents, Charles and Betty Abbott, children, Jerry Abbott and wife Kristen and Jennifer Abbott, Ex-Wife Janet Abbott, sister, Donna Endsley and husband Gaither, three grandchildren; Christian Anderson, Hayden Abbott and Eliza Abbott, a host of nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Stanley served in the U.S. Air Force for many years. Prior to that though he was a high School graduate of W W Samuell High School in Dallas, Texas where he participated in the band and ROTC. Stanley had a love for frogs and John Wayne was his hero, he loved watching John Wayne movies.
A visitation for Stanley will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home following with a 2:00 PM graveside service at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
