

Steve Keyser, 75, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2019. Steve was born on July 31, 1944 in Callaway, Nebraska to Melvin and Clara (Schroeder) Keyser. He was the middle son of five boys. He was so proud the day he became a Dad to Kitti Rae.
Steve was a True all-around Cowboy. In his younger days, he was a bull rider and enjoyed showing and training horses. He won many futurities and had top reining and cutting horses. He also enjoyed working and checking cattle on his ranch horses Willie and J.R. . He loved being a Papaw to his grandchildren and great grandsons, they were the sparkle of his eye and his heart. Steve was the kind of man that would do anything he could with what he had for you. There was never a doubt of the love he had for his family and friends. When Steve found the Lord, it was one of the greatest days.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Clara Keyser and one brother Gayle.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Diane. Daughters, Kitti Nienhueser (Curtis) of York, NE, and Michelle Winkler (Billy) of Seagoville, TX. Grandsons, Seth Nienhueser (Haley) of Beatrice, NE, Josh Nienhueser (Erin) of Henderson, NE, Zach Nienhueser of York, NE, Matthew Sikes (Cheryl) of Paris, TX, and one Granddaughter Heather LaRue (Daniel) of Cooper, TX. Two great grandsons Stetson Nienhueser, Lawson LaRue, and one great granddaughter on the way, Blakey LaRue. Brothers, Jim Keyser (Jan) of Broken Bow, NE, Marv Keyser (Kay) of Stillwater, OK, Shorty Keyser of Apple Valley, CA. Many nieces, nephew and cousins.
Steve had many friends in his life that meant so much to him. Steve always held a special place in his heart for his dear friends.
