Steve McBay

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Tammie McBay; his son, Michael Atkins and his wife, Hillary; his father, Jorden Albert (Billie) McBay; 6 grandchildren: Genesis Davila, Victoria Atkins, Caleb Atkins, Michael Atkins Jr., including step grandchildren: Amelia & Matthew Theller; brother, Gary McBay, step-siblings: Cloyd & Donna Duckworth, Jim & Denise Meyers and Danny & Kim Duckworth.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Billie McBay and stepmother, Betty McBay.

Steve graduated from Sunset High School in 1970. He was self-employed as the Owner of Arlington APA for the last 17 years. Prior he worked as a Car Sales Manager, then as a draftsman for 19 years.

He was a funny person who liked to tell jokes and make people laugh, even though his jokes got old. He made lots of friends during his lifetime. Steve bought a Pool League because he loved playing pool and made a living at it for his family. Fishing was another pastime he enjoyed doing. He would go fishing every weekend and always caught really big fish! He was also, an excellent drummer and played Western Swing style music as long as his hands let him play.

He always made it well known how special his love was for Tammie and never missed a birthday or holiday gift.

He loved his family so much!
