

Suzanne Lynette Curtis-Nolen, age 49, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends after a long, hard-fought battle with metastatic breast cancer on February 18, 2023. She was born November 27, 1973, in Dallas, Texas to Lewis and Edna Curtis.
Suzanne is survived by her son, Garrett Nolen, her mother, Edna Curtis, her brothers Ron Kresge (Brenda) and Michael Curtis (Kim), niece Lauren Rash (Treston), nephews Clayton Curtis and Adam Kresge, great nephews Peyton and Colt Rash, several aunts, uncles, and first cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Lewis Curtis, maternal grandparents Frances and Richard Keays, and paternal grandparents Gladys and Perry Curtis.
Suzanne had an incredible love for Garrett and was passionate about teaching him to follow his own path and chase his dreams. She was an avid runner and a volunteer for CASA. For the past 25 years, she worked for AT&T as a Communications Consultant.
Suzanne immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people. She loved friends and family and was full of vibrancy and color. She will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Care, or CASA in Suzanne’s name.
A visitation for Suzanne will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral home with the Funeral service to follow at 2 pm. The committal service will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Clayton Curtis, Treston Rash, John Nolen, Brian Smithson, Cody Little, and Adam Kresge will serve as pallbearers. The family will be having a reception after back in the funeral home.
