Anthony L. “Huff” Johnson passed away peacefully on February 20, 2014. He was born on March 24, 1962; in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Anthony and family moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1965 where he had since been a resident.
Anthony was a very likeable person and was well known in Seaside. He enjoyed socializing, and spending time with his dog, Lillymae. When he was at home, you could find him in the kitchen. He loved both cooking and eating.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Leo Johnson; his mother, Gloria (Middlebrooks) Johnson Williams; brother, Tyrone Johnson; nephew, Michael Mercadal Jr.; and sister-in-law Angelika (Angie) Johnson.
Anthony is survived by his stepfather, John Williams; brothers Edward Johnson and Joe Johnson; sisters, Brenda Lyons, Gloria Neola Johnson, and Lucille Johnson; nieces, Gloria C. Johnson, Brenda E. Johnson, Lanita Lyons, and Ashley Johnson; nephews, Jillet Johnson, Edward Johnson Jr., and Arian Johnson. Anthony is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Anthony will be deeply missed by family and friends.
