Deborah was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but spent most of her years growing up in Texas. She came to Marina, California in the late 70’s and this is where she had lived ever since. She was a long time resident in the Monterey County up until her unfortunate passing. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 16th, 2024 after a short term battle of Pancreatic Cancer. She was an adored Grandmother, loving and devoted Mother, a caring Friend to those in which she shared friendships with and a dedicated Employee to the Army and Air Force Exchange Service where she worked at for 45 years and was luckily able to retire with the company a couple of weeks before her passing. She loved spending time with her Grandkids and fur baby Lulu, she was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching football games with a nice cold can of Mickey’s or Corona in one hand with some good food in the other and pretty much enjoyed the simple things in life. Everyone who knew and loved her would say she was a wonderful person and was always there when someone needed her. She always had a positive attitude no matter what she going through and kept the faith until God called her home to rest. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine… her father Harlan… and her two brothers Mike and David. She lives on through her two daughters Delores and Stephanie… her four grandchildren Jayden, Josiah, Daeshon and Destiny… her sister Catherine in San Antonio, Texas… amongst other family members and loved ones as well. Deborah will be FOREVER missed by many and will NEVER be forgotten.
