The duration of Donna’s youth was spent in Seaside, California, in which she attended preschool at Noche Buena and then continuing on to Highland Elementary, and Colton Middle School, where she was one of the first African American students to be integrated. She graduated from Monterey High School and received her paralegal degree while also pursuing a degree at San Jose State University.
Donna was not only an active member in the church but in her community as well. Over the years she spent her time pursuing her goals and aspirations which included being an usher, playing the piano, attending church choir, and being apart of the Seaside peace makers drill team. She also was an active participant in ballet and Barbizon modeling. In her later years, Donna continued to follow her aspirations working as a naval firefighter dispatch at Moffett Field. Donna achieved her accomplishments while battling various illnesses which ultimately led to our Lord calling her home on March 21, 2021.
Donna leaves behind to cherish the memories with her mother, Cornelia J. Morgan, Donal A. Morgan (father deceased). Her sisters; Carmen Morgan, Carol Dillard-Weston, Thomasine Dillard, Rosalind Dillard-Bibbens. Her brothers; Marvin Dillard, Harvey Dillard. Her nephew Aaron Bibbens. Her nieces Angela Gray and Dominica Hansen. Preceding her in death include her brother Welton Dillard. Her nephew David Gaines. Her grandparents Lydia and Ernest Acoff, Bertha and George Burell of Houston, Texas. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Honorable mention to her cousins Rita Jenkins, Eloise and Samantha Pritchett.
