Lloyd (Sack) Lamont Foster

Seaside – Lloyd L. Foster, born in Scotts, Arkansas, June 30, 1937 to Golena and Allen Foster, passed away November 26, 2011, at the age of 74. Lloyd was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Scotts, Arkansas. He graduated from Jones High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas. And at the age of 18 he joined the military and retired following 23 years of service.

Lloyd is survived by his wife: Janice Foster of Seaside and sons: John P. Foster (Marilyn) of Modesto, Quentin A. Foster (Rochelle) of Stockton, William M. Foster (Margarette) of Seaside and Lloyd L. Foster II. He is also survived by his twin brother: Floyd Foster of Blythe, CA, sister-in-law, Emma Greene of Las Vegas, NV and aunts: Zelma Rogers, Edna Smith, Ruthie Mae Elliott, and many other nieces and nephews throughout California. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects Thursday, December 1st from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena St, Seaside. Funeral service will be Friday, December 2nd, 11:00am at Community Baptist Church, 401 Pine Avenue, Pacific Grove. Burial with military honors will follow at Mission Memorial Park.
