Raymond Lawrence Thomas, Sr. passed away October 22, 2014 at age 86. Raymond was born June 8, 1928 in Sanger, Texas to Ed and Eliza Thomas. He was a Command Sergeant Major in the US Army and subsequently a Loan Officer at Crocker Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Madlyn. He is survived by his four children, Ethelyn Thomas, Raymond Thomas, Jr. (and wife Donna), Brenda Thomas, and Yvonne Thomas; two grandchildren, Tanya Thomas and Shayla Finney; one great grandchild, Tamea Crear; two brothers, Alvin Thomas and Mitchell Thomas; and one sister, Alma Jean Ditto.
Viewing will be Sunday, November 2nd at Bayside Community Mortuary from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 11am at Ord Military Community Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will be immediately following the service at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside.
