Timothy Evans

Tim shared nearly two decades of marriage with his wife, Lily, and was the father of Kristen, Laura, and Sonja. He is also survived by his siblings—Rhonda, Marcus, Craig, Dale, Chris Evans, and Lynn Johnson

In his younger years, Tim went by the nickname “Pontiac Kid” during his CB radio days and was rarely without his police scanner, which he kept on around the clock. He had a long-standing interest in nature and animals, particularly snakes, and enjoyed learning about them. He was naturally curious and spent much of his free time tinkering with electronics, often taking things apart to understand how they worked.

Tim worked for over 30 years in the maintenance industry and held a variety of jobs throughout his life, including landscaping, delivering flowers, and working as a restaurant food courier.

He enjoyed traveling to the Philippines and had a strong interest in food, always open to trying different dishes—though avoided anything too spicy.

Tim also spent time volunteering, including delivering food to individuals experiencing homelessness and helping serve Thanksgiving meals through the Salvation Army.

He will be remembered for his unique interests, and the simple, consistent way he lived his life.

A Funeral Service will be held at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street, Seaside, CA 93955, US, on May 11, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
