Alex Andrew Kusulos

He was born on August 20th, 1933 in Seattle, WA to Greek immigrant parents Andrew Kusulos and Maria Themeley who came to Seattle in 1923.

Alex met & married his high school sweetheart, Dena Shenas who emigrated from Greece with her sister Marge (Pallis) in 1947.

He is survived by his wife Dena of 63 years, Children Alexandra (Albert Angel) and Bill (Dolly Davis). Grandchildren: Mary (Scott Shipley) Alex, Rebecca (Zev Furer), Sammy, Denah (Sandy Shenkman), Caleb, Olivia and Peter. Six great grandchildren Zoe, Andrew, Bella, Charlie, Liam, and Henry. He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Kusulos. He is also survived by three siblings: Harold Kusulos, Olivia Contos , Mary-Lou Delegans and sister-in-law Marge Pallis.

At St. Demerios Greek Orthodox Church he was president of the parish council in 1972, 74, 75 and 91. He was also the chairman of the Greek festival for many years.

He enjoyed many pastimes including boating, fishing and hunting.
