Alex grew up in the Seattle's Haller Lake area with his siblings and cousins by his side exploring and running free as kids did in the 60's and 70's.
Alex was an active Boy Scout as a teen and this experienced helped shaped him and opened his mind for the appreciation of nature and hiking in the great outdoors.
Alex graduated from Ingraham High School in 1978 and was launched into adulthood to begin his journey.
He started working at an investment firm in Seattle but is was not the office life that spoke to him. His passion was working the firms printing department. In the 1990s Alex had the opportunity to open his own company in Anacortes WA. Anacortes Printing. Who would have known his printing company would have blossomed into what it is today! Alex started the publication, The Clamdigger, which everyone in Anacortes desired and looked forward to every week. Over the last 20 years Alex has become a beloved and respected member of the Anacortes community.
It was with perseverance and integrity that he worked and lived. A loyal employer, friend, brother, son, and uncle. Alex is survived by his Brother Victor Lermusik (Molly), Sister Katherine Watson (Rob), nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Alex you are free from pain. "He fought a good fight, He won the race, He kept the faith".
