Alice E. Russell, born in Montana, found Seattle when she was 18 and decided to stay. With her loving husband Gerald R. Russell, she walked around Green Lake, traveled to Norway and throughout the U.S.
After working at the Securities and Exchange Commission, she volunteered at the Seattle Public Library, sharing her passion for books. She toured Seattle's neighborhoods, savored double chocolate donuts and coffee from Top Pot and loved watching Mt. Rainier when it broke through the clouds. She was 87 and passed away surrounded by friends and family.
