August 16, 1938 – August 24, 2021
Ginger Freeman, of Seattle Washington, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 83 years of age. Ginger was born in Freeport, Illinois. She was the eldest of nine siblings, whom she cared for deeply. After college, she visited California and then traveled to Seattle, where she lived, loved and laughed throughout her life. Ginger was a successful Real Estate Agent in the Ballard area (Seattle) for many years. She loved her family, including her three children, Monty Freeman (Karen), Tracy Carlson (John) and Erik Freeman (Heidi). She adored and doted on her grandchildren, Heidi Hawley (Chris), Seth Freeman and Marina Freeman. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren, Natalie, Christopher and Blake Hawley. Ginger loved her cat Bambi, her quiet home in Ballard and her many long and close friendships. She enjoyed the life she lived, loved the people around her and laughed every day. She will be remembered and missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace mom, until we meet again.
As per her wishes, she was cremated at Evergreen Washelli and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2022, most likely at the Ballard Elks Lodge #827 (6411 Seaview Avenue NW, Seattle, WA). Details will be forthcoming in the early part of 2022 when the date/time is set. In the meantime, all who knew her are asked to think of funny/heartwarming stories/experiences you all have had with her to share at her Celebration of Life. She would want it to be a happy occasion, as she loved to laugh.
