January 17, 1931 – July 14, 2025
Audrey Louise Nilsen was born on January 17, 1931, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Olaf and Louise Lien. She entered the presence of the Lord on July 14, 2025, in Lynnwood, Washington. Audrey was the third of seven children in the Lien family. At the age of 13, her family moved from their farm in Wisconsin to Seattle, where she attended Ballard High School.
It was at Philadelphia Church in Ballard that Audrey met the love of her life, Harry Nilsen. They were married on September 5, 1952, and shared nearly 73 wonderful years together, setting a beautiful example of faithfulness and love for their family.
Audrey and Harry were blessed with four children, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren (with another on the way). Family was at the heart of Audrey’s life, and she poured out love, encouragement, and kindness to each one.
Audrey will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steadfast faith, and her joy in caring for others. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.
She will be greatly missed, but her family takes comfort in knowing she is now with her Savior.
