I'm looking out at the beach on a ELiza island, thinking about Bobbie and Doug, and all the wonderful memories of this place.  I was so happy that I got to see Bobby last Sunday, to tell her I love her, to hold her hand and let her know that God was with her, and to not be afraid, for the best was yet to come.  

Today I read a passage from Jesus Calling, that says " I will never leave your side when you move on from this life to the next. My presence beside you will shine brighter with each step. You have nothing to fear because I am with you for all time and throughout eternity."

Bobby was a loving and caring matriarch, a genuine friend to many, she truly had a zest for life. Only time will be able to heal our hearts that break.

Ray and I have many fond memories of Bobbie, Doug, and their children from our 18 years living on 196th Street in Bothell.  We were some of the first residents of this great neighborhood.  Bobbie was always a wonderful homemaker, and even better gardener.  We shared fun times being Campfire leaders for our girls.  She will be greatly missed.

I was fortunate to become a daughter in law to Bobbie almost 32 years ago.  She was a loving, caring and generous person.  I relied on her for gardening advice as she knew every plant there ever was and many other things.  I will miss her very much especially our almost weekly email chats.  She was always kind to my friends and always eager to know what was going on in my life. She was one of the strongest women I knew enduring so much since Doug passed away.  I told her many times that God is constantly testing her when she would tell me what was going on in her life.  I admired her very much and will always remember her for who she was and what she represented.  My heart aches for the emptiness I already feel.  I love you Mom!

I miss you mom... I would give anything for one more day with you.  Jen
