Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Brewer in 1997. She is survived by her loving sister, Dorothy Taylor Fields; nieces, Shelly (Gary) Mickelson, Sharon (Dexter) Baker; a nephew, Steven J. Fields and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.
She was a Franklin High School Graduate, class of 1937 and began taking dance lessons at age 3, appearing in professional stage shows by age 12 and at age 14 she sang and danced in Nightclubs across the Country. In 1956 she began her 31 year career with Disney, appearing as "Slue Foot Sue" at the Golden Horse Shoe Review.
On occasions, Betty with her 10 - member Disney Revue Troupe performed outside the Park, on USO Tours and performed for President Richard Nixon at the White House. Walt Disney asked Betty to perform her show on Disney's "Wonderful World of Color" on television with Ed Wynn and Annette Funicello. She retired in 1987 but continued to appear at special events.
