born Aug 8, 1926 in Price, UT to Lewis Amos Hills and Mabel Viola Stowell Hills. She passed away of cancer on August 13, 2001 in Seattle, WA.
Bev was a longtime resident of Queen Anne Hill, then lived on Mercer Island for the last 28 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1992, and four brothers Eugene, Earl, Cecil and Lee Hills. Bev is survived by a daughter Shandra Tietze of Shoreline, 2 step-sons; Jeff of Mt. Vernon and Steven of North Bend; 4 grandchildren; Shannon Schwarz, Brian Tietze, Toni Westman and Kristen Tietze. Bev also has a sister, Louise Elwood of Seattle, a brother, Stan Hills of Mercer Island and many relatives across the country.
Bev worked in the legal field for more than 30 years, then worked for the City of Mercer Island Finance Department. She was an active volunteer for the Mercer Island Guild of Children's Hospital and was a Block Manager for the
Island's Department of Emergency Preparedness.
