Although my grandmother's legal first name was Blanca Nieves she just went by NIEVES. I was the first grandchild of many more to come into my grandmother's life. Nieves was always loving, available for us, and dedicated to our care and looking out for our best interests. Nieves was also a testimony of God's grace and love with the salvation offered through our Lord Jesus Christ. I look forward to my reunion with her someday.

Blanca Nieves Castano was a woman of incredible energy, with a heart for giving. She was a loving and involved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nieves constantly gave to her loved ones of her time, energy, wisdom and much more. She always made us feel special as her grandchild and great-grandchild. As Juan Carlos stated, her loving spirit will be missed.  She was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family and able to serve them in some way. 
Nieves was a remarkable woman and will be greatly missed by all her life touched â€“ but none more than her family. Though the Bible tells us that it is better to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord, we selfishly would like to have kept her with us a little longer.  However, we are confident that we will join her again someday in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Nieves was not only my grandmother but the most important person in my life. I have been attached to her since the day i was born and I miss her more than anything. She was always there for me if I ever needed anything and always knew how to comfort me and put a smile on my face. She was such a beautiful woman with a wonderful personalitly and I hope to follow in her footsteps.

Blanca was the most loving person in the world. She won all peoples heart with her love and she was the greatest person to walk on the face of this earth. But now she is with god and she is happy. i loved her with all my heart.

I miss you so much.I hope they have computers in Heaven so that you can read what I have wrote for you : You are and always will be the love of my life.The storys that you shared with me about Cuba,Castaño,Miami,and all the other great things you told me about will forever be burned into my heart and memory.I promise you today that my life will be dedicated to you y Castaño y Dios.You are what makes me get up in the morning and want to live and make a name for myself! I EM A CASTAÃ‘O and I'm FOREVER proud of that NAME! Thank you so much for everything you have done for me sarah and alexander just to name a couple names.Ill never forget all the Christmas's that you SPOILED me the birthdays and the regular trips to Fred Meyers and the 99cent stores : you ALWAYS kept me happy!Te amo tanto mi amor y te extraño te quiero para siempre mi vida tu eres mi todo!
