Bob was born 10th of 13 children to Hart & Kate Ervin on May 11, 1923 in Havre, MT. Having been born during the depression, Bob & his family grew up with very little. He got himself through high school while living away from home & working to support himself.
Bob served in the Army during WWII and then married the love of his life, Lorraine LaSalle in 1947. They had 3 children, Scott, Crystal & Sam (Leslie) they raised mainly in Edmonds, WA, after deciding to give up on the snowy & cold Montana winters in the 50’s. Bob has 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews with a special relationship/bond with his loving niece, Nina Clevidence from McMinnville, OR. Always being a staunch Ford man led to the majority of his working career being for the Ford Motor Co. Bob very much enjoyed travelling, fishing, camping & dancing. Bob has been so fortunate to have many wonderful people in his life: church members & the Church, neighbors, friends & family.
Predeceased by wife in July 2007 & son in Feb. 2009.
Survived by his 2 daughters & his youngest sibling, Donna Reed from Havre, MT.
We feel very blessed to have had Bob with us for nearly 93 years & are grateful he left us peacefully to be reunited with so many loved ones who have been waiting for him in glorious Heaven.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 630 7th Ave. Edmonds, WA.
