Cary Grant Parkes, 91, of Oro Valley, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at his residence in SaddleBrooke, Oro Valley, Arizona. Cary was born on December 12, 1934, in Los Angeles, California. He served his country and community in the United States Marines Corp and the Seattle Police Department in various roles and assignments including in the Homicide Department, his favorite assignment.
He is survived by his three sons William J. (Tanya) Parkes, of Cedar City, UT; Kendall B. (Barbara) Parkes, of Spokane, WA; Barry G. (Shauna) Parkes, of Idaho Falls, ID; two stepsons Gregory A. Parkes, of Marysville, WA; Gary D. Parkes, of Everett, WA; and step daughter, Kimberly G. (Richard) Chamberlain of Palm Springs, CA; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held in Oro Valley, Arizona.
Cary will be laid to rest in Seattle, Washington at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery
