Christina Rose Prokopowicz

Christina was born on August 13, 1986 to Robert and Lauren (Mecir) Prokopowicz and attended Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, NY. She moved to Seattle at the age of 19 and earned an Associates Degree from Seattle Central College. She married Will Ringness on June 3, 2018, and they welcomed their daughter Olivia into the world in February 2021. Both long-time restaurant workers, Christina and Will have owned and operated a food truck since 2023. She loved playing with her daughter, taking care of her pets, and enjoying a day of people-watching in the park with friends.

Christina is survived by her husband, William Ringness, and daughter, Olivia Ringness; her parents, Robert and Lauren Prokopowicz of Broad Channel, New York; and her brother, Christopher Prokopowicz, also of Broad Channel.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial and reception at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 814 NE 85th St., Seattle, at 10 am on Wednesday, March 25. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Christina’s family will receive friends from 1 to 5 pm on Tuesday, March 24, at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Christina’s memory to Mary’s Place.
