Clara Chittick went to heaven on Jan 18, after a short illness, from natural causes at Okanagon Co. Hospital in Brewster, WA. Clara was born to Albert & Andrea Vowles April 1, 1917 in Seattle, WA, the eldest of 3 children. Her sister Dorothy & brother Tommy preceded her in death. Clara married Harry W. Chittick in 1941. They remained married 55 years until Harry?s passing May 3, 1996. Clara was a resident of Seattle, except during WW2, from birth until 1991. In 1991 she moved to Overland Park, KS. She again moved to Granite Bay, CA in 1996. Her final move was to Alta Lake, WA in 2006. Each move was to follow family. Clara is survived by her son Denny & daughter-in-law Ginger of Alta Lake, WA; grandchildren Elizabeth Rose of Pateros, WA, Pete Chittick of Sultan, WA, Heather & husband James Schreindle of Citrus Heights, CA; great grandchildren Kendal & Kalie Chittick, & Paige & Jamie Schreindle; nieces Cindy Kester, Sharon & husband Ken Cunningham, nephew Ron & wife Galeen Kester, all of the Seattle area. Services will be Fri., February 2nd at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA.
